Transportation
Our transportation services combine highly trained and experienced drivers with a well-maintained and diverse fleet to provide for the safe and timely shipment of materials nationwide. We proudly boast over 20 years of experience in the shipment of hazardous wastes, have earned numerous safety awards and have maintained the highest available Federal Highway Administration Safety Rating.
We operate a fleet of over 170 waste hauling vehicles including box vans (many with lift-gates), dump trailers, roll-offs, flat beds, vacuum tankers, and stainless steel and carbon steel tankers. We also maintain over 200 roll-off boxes in our inventory. Our fully trained staff and drivers can handle all of your waste shipping requirements and we can also transport any non-food grade product shipment that you may wish to schedule for pickup or delivery.
Tonawanda Tank operates under ICC Authority MC-152173, maintaining hazardous waste transporter permits in 30 of the 35 states, which require them, plus the Canadian Authority. We are fully insured carrying coverage that exceeds limits required by law.
Our fleet operates from two terminals. The Buffalo, New York terminal serves as our primary service center, and maintains a staff of mechanics, fabricators, and technicians. The terminal is also equipped with a state-of the-art Fury high-pressure tank cleaning system. Many other carriers use the tank cleaning system internally and commercially. The Cincinnati, Ohio terminal is equipped and staffed to perform all necessary preventative maintenance and pre-trip inspections.
